The scope of work included drilling ten borings at a depth of up to 30ft in locations spaced across the three properties; collecting soil samples from the borings; and analyzing the soil samples for a range of petroleum hydrocarbon compounds, petroleum- and solvent-related volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and a number of metal and metalloid elements. Essel also conducted hazardous materials surveys and provided abatement planning and oversight.
